For the highly sensitive, freedom from self-doubt & unhappiness comes from inner development
& separating your needs ​from the needs of others.


Feeling alive & energized.
An existence with possibilities & choices, with kindness & love.
Believing you’re able to act on those possibilities & choices & make them part of your life.
​Is this what you want?


If you're highly sensitive, you may feel misunderstood, tired of difficult experiences.
​You know that you have free will but you don't feel free.
You may feel powerless, stuck or worried about your future.
​
If you're on a path of self-discovery, you may already know how strong you are.
You're motivated to explore & work towards those changes that you want
. 

There are ways to minimize your fears & anxiety that show up in your life as:
self-doubt, a need for other people's approval, ​hesitance to speak up for yourself,
feeling anxious around others, being taken advantage of & having a general feeling of powerlessness.


These issues usually go back to childhood and need your commitment of time & energy to heal them.

You must work for it, but imagine how satisfying it will be as you experience progress.

As a highly sensitive person, you have complexities & depth. 
When you use those traits to develop higher consciousness & awareness, 

you open the door to discovering how much power you really have.

​I’m Karen Elena James. I created this website to encourage & support people who value kindness
but need stronger boundaries; they're too agreeable even when they don't want to be.


When I was younger, I was afraid to speak my mind, especially when I felt wronged or disrespected.
I was self-conscious & detached and always seemed to be second best.

 
So I spent years exploring & studying and I was able to overcome much of the negativity & fear that were ruling my life.
I discovered that my strength & true guidance are found in my inner world & my spiritual connection.

"One of the greatest challenges of being highly sensitive is separating other people’s needs from ours.
We have difficulty with boundaries because we assume other people are hurt as easily as we are.
The truth is, many others are not, and we need to understand that. 
If we also have low self-esteem, the ease with which others assert themselves may surprise us.
Until we prepare ourselves for these differences, our unchecked empathy and docile nature will attract
​people who take advantage of us.


When we can live with both kindness and boundaries, we free ourselves to experience life
​in new ways."
